HP came out and fired a shot across the bow of everyone making high resolution displays by introducing the ZR2740w.  With a true 8-bit IPS panel, 2560×1440 resolution, and an MSRP of only $729, they have managed to undercut the competition by hundreds of dollars.  Did they have to sacrifice performance to get there?  Read my review at AnandTech to find out.
