JVC was kind enough to loan me a JVC X30 projector for a couple months to see how well it performed.  Friends have owned JVC projectors, and many good things have been written about them over the years but I had never had the chance to use them myself.  Now that I have had the chance, almost anything you have heard about them is true, with black levels that can’t be beat, and a truly film-like image.  My full review is up over at Secrets of Home Theater if you want to get the full details, including calibration numbers.
