ASUS PA246Q 24″ IPS Monitor Review

By Chris Heinonen on July 2, 2012

It’s a busy day, as I have a review of the ASUS PA246Q monitor up at AnandTech today as well.  The ASUS PA246Q uses an IPS panel and CCFL backlight to deliver the full AdobeRGB color gamut, but it also promises to have a dE < 5 out of the box.  Since typically you need so spend a few hundred dollars on calibration equipment to achieve this goal, this would be a huge benefit for users that want accurate images, but don’t want to spend the money to have it calibrated.  Can ASUS deliver on this promise?  Read the full review at AnandTech to see if they do manage to deliver.
